2026 April Newsletter. Happy Records and Information Management Month!
Announcements

Happy RIM Month!
Did you know that April is Records and Information Management (RIMM) Month?
Originally passed in 1980, the Paperwork Reduction Act aimed to increase efficiency and reduce waste in government offices. ARMA International helped bring awareness to and advocated for the renewal of the act in 1995 with a day dedicated to Records and Information Management. In 2002, this recognition was expanded to include the entire month of April. How’s that for some trivia! https://dictionary.archivists.org/entry/records-and-information-management-month.html
This year, ARMA International is celebrating with a great series of webinars scheduled throughout April. Learn more about those webinars and find additional resources for celebrating RIMM here.
Certifications Coffee Hour | April 14th.
A little closer to home, the ARMA Mile High Denver Chapter is hosting a Certifications Coffee Hour on April 14th at 3 p.m. at Table Public House. Come learn about the different certifications available for Records and Information professionals, what each entails, and how they impact the profession. Hear from chapter and board members who are either pursuing their certifications or have already earned them. Support Table Public House by purchasing a coffee, adult beverage, or snack at their bar. This will be a great opportunity to network, learn, and grow your skill set. Seats are limited so be sure to register.
