January Education meeting
January (Virtual): You Can't Take It With You - How to Manage Separating Employees' Information
Every organization has a process for onboarding employees - issue a badge, issue a laptop, set up an email inbox, all the things required for employees to start work. Similarly, organizations generally also have a process for separating employees - get the badge back, get the laptop back, get the garage pass back, etc. But often these processes don't really focus on what to do with separating employees' information stores and assets. In this highly interactive session, we'll take a look at the specific issues to consider when separating employees, including legal, security, continuity, and even privacy considerations. We'll discuss all the different places employees store information and some of the unique challenges they present. Finally, we'll outline a specific approach and checklist for how to effectively manage separating employees' information.

Volunteering with the Board
Volunteering as a Chapter Board member is an incredibly rewarding experience. Not only do you get to work closely with others leading in the IG space, but you also get to contribute to the success of the chapter. Being a board member is a great way to develop your professional and personal brand.

2026-2027 Changes (coming next chapter year)
For the first time in over two decades, we are updating our chapter membership dues. Starting in June 2026, our chapter membership dues will be increasing from $35.00 to $50.00. Want a chance to win a free chapter membership? Earn Moolah Points for a chance to win.
Mile High Moolah
Attending an education meeting and bringing a guest can earn you points. So can donating a canned good. Fill out a survey for more points. Those with the highest number of points are eligible to win prizes, including a $250.00 gift card.
