President's Report

Thank you to everyone that attended our first virtual meeting and a special thank you to John Montaña and John Spencer for their presentations. We used Zoom and things went rather well.

We will likely have our May meeting on Zoom as well, so please make sure you can use that platform. Our Spring Seminar is still planned for June but of course details are not yet finalized.

This is a great time to volunteer to serve on the board. We are in need of your expertise and most importantly time. Please let me know if you'd like to volunteer.

Finally, please help us raise some funds for our chapter charity, The Metro Denver Homeless Initiative. You should be able to donate when registering for a meeting or on the chapter charity page. Also, you can send a check to our mailing address.

COVID-19 & ARMA Member Renewals—Grace Period Extension

We are in this together. While our April renewals remained high, we realize that some ARMA members have lost their jobs or have been furloughed but need to maintain access to their ARMA network and ARMA resources.

The Board of Directors has approved an extension of our current 60-day grace period. Our policy in response to COVID’s impact is now: Members who are unemployed or furloughed due to the COVID-19 crisis will be granted an additional two-month membership-renewal grace period (from the current 60 days), upon written request via email.

Members will receive this extension information in their renewal notices and can update their records to a personal email address.

Please help us to let members who have been laid off or furloughed know that they may update their records with a personal email address at any time, even if their renewal is not coming up. Depending on their renewal date, ARMA will apply the same policy.

InfoCon 2020 (Oct. 26-28): Latest Updates
