IG Disrupters

Blockchain, AI, Social Media campaigns, Zoom and the Pandemic

  • The rise of Zoom and other virtual meeting tools (the good, the scary, and the ugly)
  • The role of social media for good (connection, dissemination, marking safe, etc.) and bad (exponentially increasing conspiracy theories, misinformation, etc.)
  • The boost towards adoption of Robotics
  • The use of Artificial Intelligence (WRAIR (an ARMY Medical Research Center) used AI to winnow down promising treatment drugs to 300 or so and sent that list out worldwide at the start of the pandemic, for instance)
  • How IG must address the risk and leverage the successes
  • Discuss the future long-term implications – what stays, what changes, what fades away once the crisis is over
